Client: Ocean Reef Club

Location: Key Largo, Florida

Overview: Paul Astbury, President of Ocean Reef Club commissioned Alan S. Maltz to create a series of 8 large-scale fine art murals on fabric ranging in size from 120W x 78H to 204H x 98H for their Town Hall conference and meeting venue. Subject matter included a mix of Florida Keys and Everglades imagery. Since traditional color was not appropriate for this project, Alan created an entirely new look for his work. This blend of Sepia tones and muted color has the essence and appeal of an old hand tinted photograph. This new format has inspired Alan to expand this portfolio with additional works of art which he titles his OLD FLORIDA COLLECTION.
